Success Story

SEPTEMBER 2008

A 25 year old Caucasian female mother of one came in seeking help to keep her irate husband away. Things started about two years ago when the son was a baby. The defendant had begun abusing her, and threatened to kill her over the phone. He had gotten in her face several times and told her that he would kill her. The defendant had called her cell phone and the house phone; the client had to change both numbers.

On, September 18, the defendant called and “stated” he was going to put a bullet in the client’s head if he couldn’t see his son. The defendant dropped off the son on August 30, and then he proceed to go into the trunk of his car and get out a shotgun, he cocked it and said he would put a bullet in the client’s head if I she didn’t stop playing with him. The client 098-164 had the defendant arrested for communicating a threat and the police picked him up. The judge granted the order, in the order the defendant has to have a third party for supervised visitation with the minor child and is to have no contact with the client because of the threat he made with the gun that he had pulled from his car. The defendant is not to have any contact with the client or to follow, harass, threaten or be any place that the client may be.
