Success Story

APRIL 2009

On April 13, 2009 an African American Male 23 years old came in and wanted to know what he could do about his ex.

The male Subject explained his situation to the court advocate and the court advocate in return explained what he needs to do. On this day the male became a U-Care client. He proceeded to write down what had happened, he stated that he had wanted to end the relationship. The defendant became very emotional and started crying about what was going on. As, client 049- 532 went to leave the ex jumped in the window of his car and hit him in the eye and took his keys. She also tried to poke holes into his car tires. The defendant got his cell phone and broke it into two pieces, so that he could not call anyone. On another occasion she had said that she was going to put a gram in a needle and shoot it up so he would not leave her. The client got away from the defendant as he was leaving; she yelled that she was going to call the law. The court advocate helped him finish his paper work and then went to court and the judge read the order and they both agree to the order. The defendant is not to have any contact with him at all, not to follow, harass, or threaten, including by email.
