U Care is a shelter in Sampson County that helps people who have domestic violence or sexual assault in their lives.  Ever since I can remember my family has volunteered at their Bee Hive Thrift Stores, shelter and events.  We help kids make free bracelets at events while the grownups talk about how to get help.  Now that I'm a little taller I sometimes get to be "Buzzy" the shelter and stores mascot!  My ornament is special to me because it shows we spread the word that "love shouldn't hurt" and that it is okay for kids to "speak out" too!
